Welcome to DG Cafe & Wine Cellar
DG Café & Wine Cellar, located at the elevated residential area of Jardine’s Lookout, is comprised of a prime dining room, a wine boutique, a bar lounge area and a wine cellar which provides an elegant, exclusive and private venue for wine lovers as well as those with a taste for the finer things in life.
The wine cellar of DG Café & Wine Cellar stores more than 1,500 bottles of wine, including red wine, white wine, champagne and more. A bottle of 1990 Chateau Petrous, worth around HKD$100,000, is kept, however, this particular item is not for sale. The most expensive wine that can be purchased in-store is a 1990 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet, with the modest price tag of HKD$13,360.
The professional and wine passionate sommelier has sourced special and unique wines from all over the world. Besides the well-known wine-growing region France, Australia, Italy, New Zealand and USA, wines are also imported from Chile, India, and Israel. Customers have more chances to taste different wines from different regions and districts.
Our Wine Cellar
We offer personalized cellaring for wines, which are stored inside the Club’s cellar with electronic device monitoring the humidity and temperature levels, plus 24 hours surveillance camera and alarm system in place. The wine storage facility is offered to members only.
Members can have access to their wines during the Club operating hours. They may request that their wines be made available in the Club, to be enjoyed on-site
at no additional cost.
Members can choose to rent a wine cabinet, which can store up to 90 bottles of wine. The wine cabinet is built with its own lock. Members can also store their wines by cases on our wine racks. Cases will
be sealed upon storage.
Our Wine Boutique
You are most welcome to visit our wine boutique where our sommelier has selected over 300 different wines from all over the world, who would love to share with you his opinion on each bottle and help you to pick the ones you would enjoy drinking with your friends, bring to parties or as a gift.
Our Function Room
We have already fully setup our larger size Function Room which can comfortably sitting for 12 person, or a cocktail party for 30 person, all ready to serve for any private dinner, birthday parties, business meeting or products launching. Our room included a Full HD TV and 5:1 sound system if any presentation is required.
Another smaller size Function Room fitting for 6-8 persons is under construction right now and it is tentatively design for casual gathering with more comfortable seats and table. (Target to be finished by the 21st of Feb, 2009)
